History of the Company
As a member of the ELB Group, ELB Engineering Services traces its origins back to the early days of the 20th century when Edward L Bateman marketed equipment imported from leading overseas manufacturers. As services diversified, ELB Engineering Services was established as a focused unit supplying total engineered solutions to a wider range of industries from the mining and minerals processing sectors, to power, construction and industrial sectors.
The purchase of B&W Instrumentation and Electrical provides ELB Engineering Services with one of South Africa’s leading electrical and instrumentation companies and compliments the full service offering. The establishment of partnerships with an acquisition of shareholdings in complementary companies further spurred this growth, providing ELB Engineering Services with the integrated capability to offer the full range of services required to bring a project to successful conclusion.
